Go-Go Fall to Long Island Nets at Capital One Arena

The Capital City Go-Go, the NBA G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, were defeated by the Long Island Nets, 125-109, at Capital One Arena.

Six players scored in double-figures for the Go-Go including all starters. Hamidou Diallo led the way with 18 points while also leading the team with 8 rebounds. Jake Stephens (15), and Wizards two-way players Jules Bernard (15), Justin Champagnie (12), and Jared Butler (11) rounded out the scoring for the starters. John Butler Jr. led the bench with 15 points, including three made threes. Devon Dotson led the team in assists with seven dimes off the bench.

Long Island saw four players score double digits off the bench, with the bench outscoring the starters 72-53. Davion Warren led the team in rebounds with seven boards and Kennedy Chandler led in assists with six.

The Go-Go will have a week-long break before facing the Austin Spurs next on Saturday, March 16 at 5:00 p.m. at the Moody Center.
