WHAT IS GO-GO MUSIC?
Formally crowned the "Official Music of D.C." in 2019, Go-Go is a popular style of music characterized by it's use of percussion and funk melodies.

WHO IS CHUCK BROWN?
Known as "The Godfather of Go-Go", Chuck Brown is a D.C. music legend credited as a co-founder of Go-Go. Every August, the city of D.C. celebrates Chuck Brown Day at Chuck Brown Memorial Park to commemorate his life and legacy.

IS GO-GO MUSIC PERFORMED AT THE GAMES?
