GO-GO ANNOUNCE 2021-22 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

Capital City “Bring the Beat Back” For Opening Games;
Single-Game Tickets now on Sale

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, announced their promotional schedule as they return to action for the 2021-22 season. Capital City will “Bring the Beat Back” to begin the season in its opening series against Westchester, with a schedule magnet giveaway on November 5 and a postgame go-go concert featuring TCB the following night.

The Go-Go will host Healthcare Heroes Night on November 28 against the College Park Skyhawks, as they honor healthcare providers who have provided aid and sacrificed throughout the entirety of the pandemic.

In December, the Go-Go will host a pair of holiday-themed games against the Delaware Blue Coats, starting with an Office Holiday Party game on December 9, and the annual Go-Go'n Home for the Holidays game, featuring an ugly sweater koozie on December 11.

On January 8 against Motor City, Capital City will give away Go-Go gloves, and will follow that on January 22 with a Star Wars Night against the Windy City Bulls. The team will close out its season of giveaways with a Go-Go rally towel on March 12 and a Cherry Blossom-themed stemless wine glass on March 26.

In addition to the season of giveaways, Capital City will also hold two special games in February, highlighted by the High School Battle of the Bands on February 4 and the team’s second STEM & Basketball Education game, which tips at 11:30 a.m. on February 9.

All giveaways will be for the first 202 fans in attendance at each game, an ode to the District’s area code. The 202 Courtside Lounge presented by Ticketmaster also returns for the 2021-22 season. Perfect for hosting groups, the 202 Courtside Lounge offers couch seating, unique close-to-court viewing, and inclusive food and beverage packages. New for 2021-22 is the Above the Rim Premium Lounge space located above section 112. This unique above court view provides a private space to watch the game from new heights.
