Go-Go Acquire Jordan Goldwire and Marvin Smith

The Capital City Go-Go, the NBA G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, have acquired guards Jordan Goldwire and Marvin Smith from the available player pool. In addition, guard Devon Dotson has agreed to a contract buyout to pursue an international opportunity.
Goldwire (6-2, 194) brings international experience to the Go-Go, last playing overseas in Montenegro, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico in 2023. In the G League, Goldwire has appeared in 16 career games with the Austin Spurs, averaging 9.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.9 steals in 30.4 minutes per game during the 2022-23 Showcase season. The Norcross, Georgia, native played for Duke from 2017-21 before transferring to Oklahoma from 2021-22.
Smith (6-6, 190) has appeared in 99 NBA G League games with Windy City (2023-24), Maine (2022-23), and Rio Grande Valley (2021-22). He holds career averages of 7.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 18.3 minutes per game. The Richmond, Virginia, native attended UNC-Greensboro from 2014-2018 and played overseas in Bulgaria (2020-21) and Germany (2019-20) prior to joining the G League.
Dotson appeared in 81 games (66 starts) for the Go-Go in the Showcase Cup and regular season from 2022-2024. He leaves the Go-Go with the most career assists (505) and the most assists in a single game (15) in franchise history.
