Game Preview: 3.16 & 3.17 vs Austin Spurs

The Capital City Go-Go return back on the road for back-to-back games against the Austin Spurs on March 16 and March 17. 

The Go-Go began this month in the middle of a 6-game homestand in Washington, in which the team finished 4-2 with wins against the Mexico City Capitanes, Wisconsin Herd, Birmingham Squadron, and Motor City Cruise. 

Guard Hamidou Diallo played in all 6 home games for the Go-Go, averaging 18 PPG on 56% shooting. Center Jake Stephens also appeared in 5 of the 6 home games, averaging 14.4 PPG and 6.0 RPG.  

With seven games left in their regular season, the Go-Go currently sit at 5th in the Eastern Conference – 1.5 games behind the first-place Osceola Magic. 

The Austin Spurs are 2-1 thus far in March, with back-to-back wins over the Windy City Bulls and the Texas Legends. The Spurs backcourt duo of David Duke Jr. and Sidy Cissoko has led the team this month, with both players averaging 19.3 PPG.  

Tip-off for Saturday’s game is at 5 PM ET from the Moody Center in Austin, TX. Sunday’s game is at 3 PM ET from the H-E-B Center at Center Park. Both games will be available to watch on NBAGLeague.com.
