CAPITAL CITY CLAIMS T.J. CLINE

WASHINGTON, DC – The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, announced today the addition T.J. Cline off of waivers.
Cline, 6-9, 230 pounds, has spent the last four seasons playing overseas in Israel, Turkey and Italy. Cline most recently played in 25 games with Maccabi Tel Aviv during the 2020-21 season, while also appearing in 21 games with Germani Basket Brescia in the Italian Lega A.
The native of Plano, Texas originally attended Niagra University before transferring to the University of Richmond for the final three seasons of his collegiate career. Cline averaged 18.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game as a senior in 2016-17, finishing as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and an Honorable Mention AP All-American. Cline left Richmond with the eighth-most points in school history. Cline is also the son of Nancy Lieberman, a Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer, U.S. Olympian and women’s basketball pioneer.
