WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, announced today its training camp roster and dates for the 2021-22 season.
Capital City’s roster is highlighted by Wizards two-way players Joel Ayayi and Cassius Winston, as well as affiliates Jaime Echenique and Jordan Goodwin, who appeared in Summer League and preseason for Washington. Jordan Schakel and Devontae Shuler round out the Go-Go’s affiliate players on the training camp roster.
Pat Spencer, Kyree Walker and Bryce Wills join the team through the local tryout process, as well as draft picks Rodney Pryor, Jachai Taylor and Jermaine Haley. Shannon Bogues (trade) and P.J. Hardy (available player pool) round out Capital City’s roster.
Joining Mike Williams’ coaching staff is Mfon Udofia from the College Park Skyhawks, as well as Justin Wetzel from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers – each of whom bring a wealth of NBA G League experience. David Noel rounds out the staff, as he returns for his second season with Capital City. The Go-Go’s training staff includes Tiara Rolle as head athletic trainer, who comes from the U.S. Soccer Federation, and Terris Hightower as head strength coach, who has spent the past two seasons working with the Wizards and Mystics in a strength role.
