Go-Go Announce 2023-24 Schedule

Home Opener Set For November 10
WASHINGTON, D.C. –The NBA G League announced today the 2023-24 regular season schedule with the Capital City Go-Go, NBA G League Affiliate of the Washington Wizards, set to begin their regular season on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena against the Maine Celtics.
Capital City will play 16 games as part of the NBA G League Showcase Cup in November and December, facing seven different Eastern Conference opponents for a place in the Showcase Cup tournament in December. The Go-Go’s opponents for the Showcase Cup portion of the schedule will be Raptors 905, Delaware, College Park, Maine, Greensboro, Westchester and Long Island.
Following the Winter Showcase and Holiday Break, the Go-Go will return to action with a reset record to face the Delaware Blue Coats on Dec. 27 in Wilmington, DE. During the regular season, the Go-Go will also host the Osceola Magic on Jan. 27 in their first season after relocating from Lakeland earlier this year. From the Western Conference, Capital City will face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for the first time since the 2018-19 season when the Vipers visit on Feb. 6 and 8. The Go-Go will also host the Mexico City Capitanes for the first time in franchise history on Feb. 26, after traveling to Mexico City last season. Capital City will conclude the regular season on a two-game road trip in Delaware on March 27 and Grand Rapids on March 30.
Capital City’s longest homestand will be a six-game stretch from Feb. 26 (Mexico City) to March 8 (Long Island). The team’s longest stretch of road games will be five games starting on Jan. 5 in Maine and ending in Grand Rapids on Jan. 14.
The Go-Go will host two Education Day games this season against Rio Grande Valley (Feb. 8) and Motor City (March 5), both tipping off at 11:30 a.m. Capital City will also host afternoon games for all Sunday home games, with 3:00 p.m. tips against the Maine Celtics (Dec. 3), Birmingham Squadron (March 3) and Windy City Bulls (March 24) and a 5:00 p.m. start against the Westchester Knicks on Dec. 17.
