By Capital City Go-Go Staff /December 20, 2023
In a consolation game of the NBA G League Winter Showcase, the Capital City Go-Go will take on the fourth-seeded Ontario Clippers.
The Go-Go suffered a 113-102 defeat at the hands of the Indiana Mad Ants on Tuesday, December 19. The game saw seven lead changes throughout and was tied heading into the fourth quarter. The Mad Ants were propelled to victory behind a game-high 31-point performance from Jarace Walker, in which he jumpstarted an early-game lead and closed the game with a victory.
The trio of Jules Bernard, Devon Dotson, and Hamidou Diallo have combined for 60 points in two of the team’s last three games and look to avenge a tough loss with their final game in Orlando.
The Clippers are coming off of a 100-87 loss to the College Park Skyhawks in their quarterfinal game of the NBA G League Winter Showcase as well. The Clippers opened the game with an early lead in the first quarter, but were unable to maintain momentum against Brandon Rudolph’s team-high 23 points for the Skyhawks. The Clippers were led by two-way player Jordan Miller’s 28 points, as the rookie guard leads the team in scoring this season with 18.5 PPG.
The Go-Go and Clippers tip-off at 9 PM on Thursday, December 21 at 9 PM. The game will be available to watch on the NBA App and NBAGLeague.com.
