Go-Go Announce Priority Dates for 2023-24 Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. –The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, announced today their four priority home dates for the 2023-24 NBA G League season.  

The four early dates announced are as follows:

  • Saturday, November 11 – Union Night
  • On November 15, the Go-Go will host high school students in grades 9-12 to explore what’s next after high school. Students will explore careers in sports and the majors to prepare them for those careers, learn more about local and national historically black colleges and universities, meet with representatives from local area colleges and universities, learn more about financial aid and talk with Service Academies and the various branches of the military.

    The Go-Go will also be hosting two Education Day games, designed for students in grades K-12, on February 8 and March 5. Students will get to know go-go music and its role in D.C. history, watch a live go-go band performance and can view go-go archive material and historic Globe Press posters on display.

    Capital City finished third in the Eastern Conference last season, the Go-Go’s highest seed in franchise history, to earn their second-straight playoff appearance. The team won its second-ever playoff game at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in March and will look to build on their success into the 2023-24 season.
