Game Preview: 12.15 & 12.17 vs Westchester Knicks

By Capital City Go-Go Staff /December 15, 2023

The Capital City Go-Go (7-5) face off against the Westchester Knicks (9-3) for a two-game, I-95 showdown this weekend.

Capital City is returning home to D.C. from New York, after a two-game road trip against the Long Island Nets. After suffering a tough 108-104 loss on Tuesday, the Go-Go rebounded with a team effort to secure a win on Wednesday. The trio of Jules Bernard, Hamidou Diallo, and Devon Dotson all notched 20+ points each, combining for 66 in a 110-106 victory.

The team will look to stop a Westchester Knicks team that has been on a tear to begin the season. Jacob Toppin leads the team with 15.6 PPG, and they’ve played a stifling brand of defense that currently ranks 2nd in the G League. The Knicks are 3-1 to begin December, holding opponents to just 95 points this month.

In the Knicks’ last outing against the inner-state rival Long Island Nets, they secured a 117-100 win, with six players ending the evening with double-digit scoring numbers and a 23-point night from center Isiah Roby. The two teams will play at 7 PM on Friday, December 15 and 5 PM on Sunday, December 17. Tickets are available for purchase here.
