2022 CAPITAL CITY GO-GO OPEN TRYOUTS
The Capital City Go-Go will host two Open Tryouts sessions on September 10 for prospective players.
This is an opportunity to showcase your skills, talent and determination in front of the Capital City Go-Go coaching staff and front office for your chance to earn an invitation to Go-Go Training Camp.
The number of participants will be limited in each session and all participants must meet NBA G League eligibility requirements.
Session 1 - September 10 - 9am to 12pm - Max of 75 Participants - REGISTER >>

Each session will be limited to the first 75 registrations.
OPEN TRYOUTS FEE
Early Registration: $200
Registration includes entry to the session you register for and your Capital City Go-Go Open Tryout Jersey, which you get to take home.
OPEN TRYOUTS GUIDELINES
For the safety of our staff and the other participants, the following guidelines must be followed:
- Participants must be fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine and provide proof of vaccination upon checking in for their session.
- We recommend that all participants wear a mask when not active on the court
- No guests, including spouses and children, will be permitted to attend. This is a limited capacity event and restricted to participants only.
- All participants must come dressed in athletic clothes, ready to play
- There will not be access to locker room/dressing room.
- There will not be access to a trainer for athletic taping
- All participants must wear basketball shoes with appropriate soles
The Capital City Go-Go, Monumental Sports & Entertainment and Events DC assume no responsibility for stolen or misplaced items while you are on-site. Please store any lose items in your vehicle or in a safe location while you're participating.

WHAT IS THIS TRYOUT FOR?

HOW DO I REGISTER? HOW MANY SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are two sessions available, each with a maximum of 75 participants allowed. Participants can only register for one session each.
HOW MUCH IS REGISTRATION? WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Early Registration (online) is $200.

WHEN DO TRYOUTS TAKE PLACE?
We will host two total sessions.
Session 1 – September 10 – 9am to 12pm

WHERE DO I PARK?
Parking will be available in the GREEN LOT next to Entertainment & Sports Arena
GETTING THERE
DO YOU HAVE TO BE COVID-19 VACCINATED?
Yes. Participants must be fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine.
You are considered fully vaccinated:
2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series
2 weeks (14 days) after you received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine (not placebo) in a clinical trial
2 weeks (14 days) after you received 2 doses of any “mix-and-match” combination of vaccines administered at least 17 days apart
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
Participants will need to bring:
- Your Registration Confirmation (will be emailed directly to you after registering)
- Your 2022 NBA G League Release & Eligibility Form, which also should be submitted upon registering
- Your NBA G League Registration Form, which also should be submitted upon registering
- Your NBA G League Medical Consent and Authorization Form, which also should be submitted upon registering
- Proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status
- Athletic shoes
- Water and snack. No meals will be provided during the tryout sessions.
- Anything else you require to play basketball. All participants should come dressed ready to play.
DO YOU HAVE A DRESSING ROOM/LOCKER ROOM?
Restrooms are available, but there is no formal dressing room or locker room available. Participants should come dressed and ready to play.
WILL YOU HAVE AN ATHLETIC TRAINER ON-SITE FOR ATHLETIC TAPING?
Participants will not have access to an athletic trainer for athletic taping. Should you require athletic taping, we recommend getting that done prior to your session.
WHO CAN ATTEND TRYOUTS? CAN I BRING GUESTS?
Due to the on-going public health and safety concerns, NO GUESTS, including spouses and children, will be permitted to attend. This is a limited capacity event and restricted to participants only.
