Go-Go Announce Training Camp Dates and Roster

WASHINGTON, D.C.  The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, announced today that training camp will take place at the MedStar Wizards Performance Center beginning on Monday, October 22.

The Go-Go will carry 15 players into 2018 training camp, including Lavoy Allen, Chris Chiozza, Tiwian Kendley andChasson Randle, all of whom participated in training camp with the Washington Wizards last month.

Capital City’s training camp roster also features a couple of local standouts in Isaiah Armwood (Baltimore, MD, George Washington) and Devin Sweetney (Washington, D.C.), both of whom have spent extensive time in the DMV area during their basketball careers. The roster also holds five players with at least one season of NBA G League experience, including Randle (Westchester), Quinton Chievous (Iowa/Santa Cruz), Mike Davis (Westchester), Kellen Dunham (Iowa) and Pe’Shon Howard (Reno). Dominic Phillips rounds out the non-draft players invited to training camp.

The Go-Go will also have all four of their draft day acquisitions at training camp. Those players include Darel PoirierNoah AllenChris Wray and Devon Bookert, all who are making their first appearances in the NBA G League.

The full schedule for training camp is listed below and the team’s roster is attached.  Media will be invited to watch the final portion of each session, with availability for players and Head Coach Jarell Christian immediately following.  Please be advised that all times are subject to change. 

The address for the Medstar Wizards Performance Center/Entertainment & Sports Arena in Congress Heights is NOT recognized on GPS. Therefore, you must enter “Entertainment and Sports Arena” in the search/address field. Media should enter off of Alabama Avenue and turn left onto Oak Drive. The practice facility can also be accessed by Metro via the Congress Heights station on the green line.

The media entrance can be accessed by proceeding from the parking lot along the south side of the building to the entrance near the box office.  Once inside, take the stairwell or elevator to the first floor to access the media room.
