The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ NBA G League affiliate, added center Asauhn Dixon-Tatum from the available player pool today. Dixon-Tatum fills the roster spot of center Anzejs Pasecniks, who earned a Gatorade Call-Up with a two-way contract from the Washington Wizards this week. Pasecniks finished his NBA debut Wednesday night against the Chicago Bulls with nine points and eight rebounds.

Dixon-Tatum, a 7-0, 235 pound center from Auburn, has played five seasons in the NBA G League – most recently with the Texas Legends during the 2018-19 season, where he averaged 5.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. The Anderson, Ind. native has spent three seasons with the Maine Red Claws and a season with the Salt Lake City Stars, totaling 131 career games (15 starts) in the NBA G League during his career.

Dixon-Tatum will join the Go-Go at the MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase, where the team will take on the Iowa Wolves at 8:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, December 19, televised on ESPNU. Capital City’s second game of the Showcase will take place on Saturday, December 21 with the time and opponent to be determined based on the outcome of the first round of games.
